Justicia con Voz

Justicia con Voz (Justice With Voice) is a documentary made in the midst of a transition of the judicial system in Mexico. For decades, our system was based in printed documents. Trials happened in offices, judges never met the accused, and corruption was everywhere. Hundreds of thousands of innocents populated the prisons.

Then everything changed. On 2008, the transition began. A period of eight years was given to move on from a written based judicial system to an oral based one.

This four chapter documentary series was made in 2012, four years after the transition began, and four years before it’s due date.
